PureH2

The final objective of the PureH2 project is to develop a H2 purification solution, based on different types of membranes, at the outlet of future green H2 storage in saline cavities, as well as to determine the optimal operating conditions of such purification systems. The project includes drilling an investigation well around the area of interest (Catalonia region) for the potential subsequent development of salt cavities.

Trinity takes part in this project, together with four companies with proven technical capacity: Enagás Transporte, CRS Ingeniería, ICL Iberpotash and H2Site. It is funded by the Renewable Hydrogen Knowledge and Innovative Value Chain Incentive Programme within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

PureH2 was launched in June 2024, and it is planned to go on for 36 months.”
